Payment
Options
Cash is accepted in all school cafeterias in the lunch line.
Checks are preferred and can be made payable to: Green Bay
Public Schools-Food Service Department.
Green Bay Public Schools Food Service utilizes a computer
based accounting system. This user-friendly system functions
very similar to a debit card. With this computer system, each
child is given a confidential food service account along with a pin number to be used for purchases. (K-5th graders may use their 6 digit PIN number in the lunch lines and 6-12th graders may choose to use either their PIN number or their ID card.) This system
maintains the daily account balance including free, reduced,
or full pay meals.
Because this system acts like a debit card, pre-payments must
be made before a meal is served to the student. All pre-payments,
cash and check, must be made and returned to school in a pre-payment
envelope. Pre-payment envelopes are available at any food
service cafeteria. The money deposited will remain in the
account until the student purchases any food item.

Identification Cards
Middle and high school students must have their personal Identification cards for every purchase of a school lunch or any a-la-carte items.
Students will be given a Food Service PIN number over the summer that they will use in the lunch lines at schools. From Kindergarten through the 12th grade this confidential PIN number will follow them as they age. 6th – 12th graders will have the option of using their ID card or Food Service PIN number. A mailing will follow over the summer with more details. This is a confidential FS PIN number that is NOT to be shared! Please note, this will be different than their student ID number. Should your student not know this new number please call the school’s Cafeteria or Food Service Office at 391-2565.
A SPECIAL RESTRICTION FEATURE allows the parent or guardian to place spending limits on middle or high school student accounts. Limits can be placed on the total amount spent on a la carte purchases or number of meals allowed (REMOVE). These limits can be placed on student accounts by checking the box on the prepayment envelope indicate the limit or by calling your school cafeteria or by visiting www.mylunchmoney.com and changing their settings. Please callmylunchmoney.com with any questions 1-800-479-3531 or our office at 391-2565.
SCHOOL MESSENGER - A HOME CALLING SYSTEM:
To help you manage your child's lunch account, all elementary and middle school
students are part of a calling system. We will automatically call your home residence with your childs Food Service account balance when it falls below $10.00 one time a week. If phone calls are not answered, a message will be left on your answering machine. In the elementary schools, prepayment envelopes will be sent home with your child at the end of each month.
